Last Saturday was not a good day at the office for East Budleigh Reserves who were confortably beaten by Chagford.
Disappointingly for Budleigh some of the players did not put in the effort needed and it could have been more.
The closest Budleigh came was in the 12th minute when an offside flag denied Corbin Couch a goal after he finished off a flick on from Dan Atkinson.
Jack Morgan was doing his best to keep the away side at bay but the first goal arrived too easily after 24 minutes.
Back at the other end Isaac Kemp produced a couple of nice crosses, but it was the visitors that always looked likely to score more.
The game was up for Budleigh either side of the interval as two further goals came.
In the second half Couch fired wide when picking up a ball from substitute gareth Morrey, and as Budleigh heads dropped, three more strikes completed their misery.
This Saturday Budleigh have an afternoon off and a bye into the next round of the Intermediate Cup after Moretonhampstead pulled out of their league.
