DOD went to Joe Day who turned up at the wrong pitch!

East Budleigh’s unbeaten start to the season came to an end at Exmouth Amateurs last Saturday as the home side won the game with two late goals.

The first half saw the sides both pass the ball well, but also defend well by cancelling each other out.

Poor marking from a cross allowed the hosts to take the lead in the second period, before a long range effort from Jack Hocking went in off the bar to level the game up. A second goal came for Ammies and with Budleigh pushing for an equalizer a third goal sealed the victory.

For Budleigh Josh Whiller was their stand out player.

This Saturday Budleigh are at Culm for their league encounter.(kick-off 3pm)
