A brace of goals from George Harris and solitary strikes from Adam Jones and Hugo Demetre gave East Budleigh a thoroughly deserved three points last Saturday, but they had to do it the hard way again gifting the visitors a 6th minute opener.
Just three minutes later parity was restored; Josh Whiller and Hugo Demetre both involved before Harris produced a sublime finish from the edge of the box.
Budleigh were now in the ascendency and were unlucky not to score again after 19 minutes when Whiller headed against the post from a Harris centre.
Demetre and Whiller both went close again, whilst the away side had a couple of half chances comfortably held by Budleigh keeper Mark Bown.
Six minutes from the interval Budleigh did take the lead; Leigh Rice saw his corner eventually drop at the feet of Harris who again produced a tidy finish.
Budleigh had to wait until the 63rd minute to make it three; Harris with the corner, Demetre with the touch and Adam Jones finishing it off.
Ryan Britton rattled the bar before The Jays sealed the win with a fourth thanks to the trusty left peg of Demetre who found the bottom corner of the net.
In the closing moments Tedurn hit the Budleigh woodwork and Bown made a couple of smart saves.
In what was a good all round display Adam Jones took the Man of the Match honours.
This Saturday Budleigh are on their travels with revenge in mind at Newton Poppleford.
