East Budleigh Reserves also started the new year with a bang with a clinical display to complete a league double over Amory Green Rovers.
Budleigh were strong from the start and it was Liam Mathew who headed his first goal for the club to give Budleigh the lead.
Amory brought themselves level with a well taken goal, but that’s as good as it got for the hosts.
Two quick fire goals from Corbin Couch and Ben Wilks respectively, put Budleigh in control; Couch converted a pin point free-kick and Wilks finished with a classy lob over the Amory keeper.
Brad Branton also got in on the act with a second half brace; one of his goals saw him produce a mazy run from in his own half before scoring.
Budleigh will look to keep up this run of form when they visit Chagford on Saturday.
