This was another fine display from East Budleigh Reserves who also came from behind to win last weekend at Witheridge. Trailing 2-0 through a penalty and an own goal, after just fifteen minutes Budleigh were grateful to keeper Jake Devine who kept them in the game with some excellent keeping. Dan Atkinson reduced the arrears before the break. A motivating team talk from manager Colin Jeans seemed to work as Hugo Boatright turned the game on its head. A delightful lobbed equalizer and a clinical finish from a fine team goal made it 3-2. The lead did not last long as the hosts levelled following a goalmouth scramble. With ten minutes to go up stepped Steve Davey to complete the victory from 35 yards with an exquisitely taken free-kick. This Saturday Budleigh are back at Vicarage Road where they host Honiton, the last team to beat them back in October.
