East Budleigh Reserves showed great character to come back from a two goal deficit and gain a share of the spoils at Millwey Rise last Saturday.
Budleigh began well and were rarely troubled at the back and as the half wore on had chances to score; Dan Atkinson struck a post and also fired another effort over after a good cross from debutant Josh Rowland.
Moments before the break the hosts broke away and took the lead against the run of play.
Budleigh began the second half again on top, but it was Millwey who went further ahead, before Budleigh staged their comeback; Ryan Britton provided the assist for Atkinson who made no mistake this time.
Another debutant Kev Hocking and Simon Coughlan both joined the action and ten minutes from the end Budleigh were awarded a corner; The kick from Liam Mathew found its way to Britton whose shot was turned in by Rory Waite.
